VFP of Duffield announces $5 million expansion

Economic recruiters in Scott County competed with pitches from Louisiana and Missouri and were successful with Duffield-based VFP’s decision to expand in Virginia.

The company that manufacturers utility buildings for data centers, cell telephone companies, and public safety groups will spend $5 million to expand their Duffield plant that has been in operation for the past 25 years.

The new addition will also result in the creation of 50 new jobs.
