Construction noise on ETSU campus prompts alert Tuesday morning

An all-clear has been issued after a report of shots fired at East Tennessee State University on Tuesday morning. ETSU officials says that the noise was from ongoing construction on campus and that led to a lockdown and a report of shots fired at 9:30 Tuesday morning. An all-clear notice was sent out about 5 minutes later. A spokesperson for ETSU says that no shots were fired on campus and there is no threat,
