Bristol TN Haynesfield Pool demolition now underway

The demolition of Bristol, Tennessee’s Haynesfield Pool is underway, making way for upgrades to Tod Houston Memorial Field. The planned renovation aims to improve the field and surrounding areas for use by the Tennessee High School baseball team and the Appalachian League’s Bristol State Liners. The pool had been in disrepair and was experiencing leaks that could not be easily repaired. City leaders intend to discuss the potential for a new aquatic facility but no plans have been made official yet.
