Carter County School Board green lights sale of former school

School board members in Carter County approved plans to sell the former Little Milligan Elementary school property to the nonprofit Little Milligan Care and Share. They are currently distributing food monthly and as needed to people in need in the community. Plans are to turn the former school into a community center where they will distribute food, and as a multi use facility for use by organizations and the public. The group plans to begin fundraising soon to help with the properties upkeep.
