Kingsport Aquatic Center and Kingsport Family YMCA open shower facilities to storm victims

The Kingsport Aquatic Center and the Greater Kingsport Family YMCA are opening up shower facilities this week to anyone without power or affected by flooding due to Hurricane Helene. The Aquatic Center has 4 family restrooms, 8 men’s showers and 7 women’s showers. The YMCA has 14 showers. Both facilities also have phone charging stations and water bottle refill stations. The KAC is open Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. The YMCA is open Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
