Dolly doles out another $1 million for hurricane relief efforts

Dolly Parton continues her season of giving by donation another $1 million to flood victims.

The announcement was made during the weekend’s Concert for Carolina event in Charlotte that raised $24.5 million that will be sent to Western counties that continue to recover.

Dolly’s newest financial gift goes with a $1 million donation she made earlier this month along with $10 million from the Walmart Foundation that will go to the Mountain Ways Foundation that is currently accepting applications from families that have a confirmed 100 percent loss of their primary residence.
