Replacement water pump to be installed Wednesday in Saltville

The Town of Saltville has found a permanent pump to help restore residents’ water. A boil water notice is still in effect in Saltville and the new pump is expected to arrive Tuesday for Wednesday installation. The town has been without water since the 18th due to a faulty pump. A temporary pump was put in on Thursday. Those who did not lose water may experience a temporary outage while the pump is replaced. Residents are asked to conserve water and those who may need of water can pick up a donation at the Saltville Fire Department.
