Unicoi County man killed in possible ATV rollover crash

A man reported missing on Friday in Unicoi County was found deceased Saturday morning. 62 year old, Shaun Nielsen, left his home Friday afternoon on a side-by-side vehicle. His family reported him missing just after midnight when he didn’t return home. Search and rescue teams were deployed after determining a general direction of travel from Nielsen’s phone signal. Crews located Nielsen deceased on Saturday at 9:37 a.m. Neilsen was believed to have been involved in a rollover crash on his ATV near Green Knob. The investigation into Nielsen’s death continues.
