Board at Virginia Tech approves 2.9 percent increase in tuition for 2025-26

Virginia Tech students will have a 2.9 percent tuition increase for the 2025-26 school year after a vote this week by the Board of Visitors.

A Tech statement said they continue to keep the cost of their education below inflation standards while making investments to maintain the level of a quality education.

For an in-state Virginia Tech student, the price of tuition and mandatory fees will increase by $576 while out of state students will see a $1,200 jump in price.
