Fire on Lynnwood Drive ruled accidental

Bristol, Virginia Fire Chief Mike Armstrong said a weekend fire on Lynnwood Drive is being ruled as accidental.

The chief’s report said crews got reports of a house fire around 1 pm Saturday with several city units responding.

The report said firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading into the upper level of the home and said the fire ignited underneath the home’s outdoor deck. No injuries were reported.
