One dead, one charged after fatal wreck in Johnson City

A female is dead after a collision in Johnson City left her with fatal injuries and the other driver is criminally charged.

A Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office report said Daniel Czerwonka, 46, is facing one count of vehicular homicide after the 2 am crash on Monday.

The preliminary investigation shows Czerwonka was traveling in the 100 block of Hilltop Road when his van crashed.

The name of the victim has not been released. Czerwonka is being held without bond.
