Man Arrested After Breaking Through Wall To Burglarize Adjacent Motel Room
A man who ripped through a sheetrock wall at a Johnson City motel, in order to gain entrance to an adjacent room to steal cash and jewelry will be arraigned Friday. Police arrested 43 year old Wesley Rankins after police say he broke through a wall at the ll E Motel on West Market Street. Rankin is also accused of breaking into Reliable Taxi on Topeka Street stealing between 12 and 15 hundred dollars in cash. Rankin is to be arraigned on aggravated burglary, burglary, two counts of theft, domestic simple assault, and possession of meth.
