JCPD: Suspect Accused of Pointing BB Gun at Victim

A Johnson City man is facing charges after police say he pointed a gun at another individual.

Dalton Gill, 19, is being charged with aggravated assault. Police received a call about the incident around midnight this morning and during a search of the area near West Market Street and Hillcrest Drive, police located Gill, and found the matching weapon, a BB gun, hidden close by. The victim positively identified both the weapon and Gill.

Gill was taken to the Washington County Detention Center and was held on a $20,000 bond. He is facing arraignment today at 1:30 P.M in Washington County General Sessions Court.
