Kingsport Man Charged With Aggravated Vehicular Homicide Set For Trial

A Kingsport man accused of aggravated vehicular homicide in Carter County is set to go to trial September 3rd 30 year old Cory Mowdy was arrested back in March after being wanted as a fugitive from justice in connection with a crash that killed 17 year old Brandi Thompson over a year ago near Simerly Creek. Mowdy was arrested in Hickory North Carolina without incident and has been extradited back to Carter County where he will now stand trial.
