Driver killed following weekend crash in Scott County

A Wise County man is dead following a weekend crash on Route 72 in Scott County.

The Virginia State Police said Michael McReynolds, 22, of Coeburn, was traveling southbound when his car traveled across the center line and into the path of a pickup truck. McReynolds was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured. The VSP report said fatigue was a factor in the cause of the wreck.
