Dobyns Bennett High School in Kingsport on lockdown

Kingsport City Schools confirm Dobyns Bennett High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday afternoon.

The lockdown comes a day after a threatening note was found inside the facility on Tuesday, leading to an increased police presence at the school, according to system spokesperson Andy True.

The note was discovered by a student and reports said the note was making the rounds on social media.
