UPDATE: Washington County, Tennessee murder suspect pleads guilty to lesser charge
A Greene County man indicted for second-degree murder in the February shooting of a Chuckey, Tennessee man has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
Court records show Justin Willis received 12 months in jail in the reckless homicide death of Joseph Parlier, 24. Willis told investigators that he and Parlier were drinking and he thought he had cleared his handgun of bullets when he jokingly pointed the weapon at Parlier and pulled the trigger shooting Parlier in the head.
