Kingsport police report unexplained disappearance of Florida man near Greenbelt

Kingsport police issued a missing person alert Wednesday afternoon for a Florida man last seen near the Greenbelt trail.

The wife of John Coulter, 48, reported him missing Tuesday after he did not return from a walk near the heavily-travelled path located behind the East Stone Commons Shopping Center at 2003 North Eastman Road. She noted that Coulter had health issues in the past but was healthy on the day of his unexplained disappearance.

Coulter is 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build and long grey hair who was last seen wearing camo pants and a jacket. Anyone with information on Coulter’s location should call their nearest police agency. Anonymous tips can be submitted by clicking here.
