Walgreen’s Employee Charged With Theft After Large Amounts Of Pain Killer Found Missing

A Unicoi County Woman, who was employed by a local Walgreen’s has been charged with theft of property after stealing large amounts of the pain killer Loratab from the store’s pharmacy on South Roan Street in Johnson City. 37 year old Nicole A. Morefield was arrested after an investigation by asset protection officers at Walgreen’s revealed large quantities of various strengths of the drug totaling more than 18 hundred dollars were missing. Morefield was arrested by Johnson City Police and was expected to appear in Sessions Court on Tuesday.
