KPD searching for suspect connected to alleged attempted robbery at Colonial Heights gas station in November

Kingsport Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a gas station on Fort Henry Drive in Colonial Heights in November.
A report from the department says police responded to a robbery the night of November 30th at the Roadrunner/Shell Station, and an investigation revealed a lone suspect entered the store, approached the clerk, and threatened to shoot the working clerk if she did not give him money from the register. The suspect ultimately fled the store empty handed.
The suspect is believed to be a white adult male. He is described as dressed in blue jeans that appeared to have distinctive embroidery on the back pockets. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt or jacket that appeared to have reflective striping and tabs on the shoulders, pockets, and back. He also was wearing dark-colored shoes. He had his jacket hood up and his face covered with a bandana and sunglasses.
