Unicoi County approves resolution to become 2nd amendment sanctuary
Unicoi County has officially declared themselves a second amendment sanctuary.
During Monday night’s commission meeting, leaders unanimously approved a resolution 7-0, with some commissioners saying this resolution is meant to send a message that they support the 2nd amendment.
Unicoi joins Sullivan as the other county in Northeast Tennessee to make the declaration along with several other localities in Southwest Virginia.
