Virginia Clean Economy Act To Be Unveiled

Thursday in Richmond, a group of state lawmakers will unveil a plan to give Virginia a one hundred percent carbon free electricity grid and eliminating emissions by 2050. The lawmakers, along with a broad and diverse coalition of advocacy groups and business leaders will introduce the Virginia Clean Economy Act. The act will lower utility bills, create tens of thousands of new clean energy jobs, and give Virginia Cleaner air, tackling climate change, protecting impacted communities, and making Virginia’s economy more just and equitable for all Virginian’s
