UPDATE: Norton man to serve 7-years for 2018 domestic violence shooting

A Norton, Virginia man will spend 7 years in prison after his sentencing in Circuit Court.

George Ernest Milam, 49, entered an Alford plea in October for charges of attempted second-degree murder, malicious wounding and a weapon charge. Milam was accused of shooting a 41-year-old female victim multiple times in the hands and chest in March 2018.
