UPDATE: Greeneville man identified as motorcyclist killed in weekend crash in Bluff City
Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a weekend accident in Bluff City.
An update from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says Deric Knight, 32, of Greeneville was traveling along the 1600 block of Chinquapin Grove Road, and preliminary details say for reasons still to be determined, his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a tree, causing Knight to be thrown from the motorcycle. Knight died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
