Charges Pending Against Elderly Kingsport Driver Involved In Fatal Crash

Charges are pending against an elderly Kingsport woman who pulled into the path of an oncoming motorcycle, resulting in the death of the cyclist. 64 year old Ronald Burke was driving West bound on Memorial Boulevard when he was struck by a car driven by 88 year old Maple Leeper. Leeper was turning left onto Glenwood Street and failed to yield the right of way to Burke’s motorcycle.
