Fire In Glade Spring, Now Being Investigated As Suspicious In Nature

A fire that occurred last week that heavily damaged a commercial building in Glade Spring is now getting the attention of Virginia State Police investigators. On January 16 fire officials were notified about a fire at the commercial building located in the one hundred block of East Glade Street. The entire building was damaged by the blaze, which is divided into commercial and residential space. No one was in the building at the time of the fire. Investigators say at this point in the probe, the fire appears to be suspicious in nature. Virginia State Police are asking anyone with information concerning the blaze to contact Virginia State Police, The cause of the blaze is still not known.
