Aggravated animal cruelty charge dropped against Off Leash K9 owner
Randi Laferney was vindicated today by the dismissal of the animal cruelty charges, she was publicly exonerated. She is not guilty of the tampering with evidence charges. She has been vilified by the newspapers and television stations, you owe her an apology. I only wish that the death of an American soldier, or the death, hunger, and deprivation of children caused the same reaction as the death of a dog. The social media idiots who have vilified Randi Laferney, should be shamed and vilified in the same manner Randi Laferney has endured. In the United States of America, a person is innocent until proven guilty.
“She has been vilified by the newspapers and television stations, you owe her an apology.”

She along with trainer Andrew Hunigan appeared in court Thursday morning, on charges of aggravated animal cruelty as well as Laferney’s additional charge of attempted tampering with evidence. The aggravated animal cruelty charge against Laferney was dropped, and Spivey added additional comments regarding his client’s case.
“Randi Laferney was vindicated today by the dismissal of the animal cruelty charges, she was publicly exonerated. She is not guilty of the tampering with evidence charges.”
Laferney is due back in court for a motions hearing February 28th in Jonesborough.
