KPD: Crash on West Stone Drive under investigation

Kingsport Police are investigating a late night Sunday crash on West Stone Drive late Sunday night.

According to the department, they were called to an accident around 11:00 p.m last night on West Stone Drive near Fairmont Avenue. The westbound lanes were closed in that area, but as of 4:30 this morning, central dispatch tells us the roadway has reopened.

We are awaiting to learn more details surrounding the crash.
