Woman facing charges in Wise County cemetery shooting investigation

Additional charges are being placed in the case of a deadly shooting that occurred at a Wise County cemetery earlier this month.

According to a press release from the Wise County Sheriff’s Office, Marshea Noell Absher, 29, has been charged with abduction, conspiracy to commit aggravated malicious wounding, and conspiracy to commit abduction. The Sheriff’s Office reports one person was killed while two others were injured in the early hours of February 3rd in a shooting off Limestone Road.

Absher is being held without bond in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail. Anyone with more information on this case is asked to call the Wise County Sheriff’s Office.
