Sullivan Commissioners Looking To Upgrade Jail Inmate Tracking System
Sullivan County Commissioners Thursday night are expected to consider a resolution that would execute an agreement with an outside firm and the Sheriff’s Department to upgrade its current manual system of managing, monitoring, and tracking inmates to an electronic Inmate Management platform. Commissioners are deciding whether to spend more than 134 thousand dollars with a Minnesota firm that would provide license, hardware, software, training, interfaces, maintenance and will also provide a project manager to ensure the successful implementation. The commissioners will gather in Blountville Wednesday evening at six pm.
