Grant Helps Johnson County Students With Expenses For Applying To College

Johnson County School officials are announcing a more than 600 thousand dollars grant will soon become available to students who are planning to go to college, and need financial help for the college application process. 617 thousand dollars will be used to help students pay for expenses such as ACT testing, college visits, and college application fees. The grant comes from the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs or GEAR UP.
