Police Foot Pursuit Leads To Arrest Of Kingsport Man On Several Charges

An old fashioned foot pursuit, by Kingsport Police has led to the arrest of a Kingsport man on several charges. 35 year old Jarrod Martin was arrested after police responded to a disturbance on Shelby Street in Downtown Kingsport. Jarrod began leaving the scene and refused commands to stop. Jarrod ran toward Broad Street as police continued their pursuit on foot. A second police officer arrived and assisted in apprehending Martin on Cherokee Street. Martin is jailed on Disorderly Conduct, Evading Arrest, and Resisting Stop, Frisk, Hault charges.
