Project Sticker Shock Bringing Attention To Laws Against Underage Drinking In Southwest Virginia

A program designed to prevent adults 21 or older from purchasing alcohol and providing it to underage youth by raising awareness about Virginia laws gets underway Wednesday. Project Sticker Shock will have participants placing stickers with a warning message about the penalties for providing alcohol to anyone under 21 and using a fake ID to purchase alcohol on cases and coolers of the beverages. The three day event will be taking place at various locations in Wise County Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
