SW Virginia healthcare providers to share $4.8M COVID-19 funding pack from HHS
US Congressman Morgan Griffith has announced millions of dollars in funding has been allocated in Southwest Virginia to help the community combat the coronavirus.
All total, several agencies will receive a share of the $4.8 million allocation from the Department of Health and Human Services.
Some of the facilities earmarked for those dollars including Clinch River Health Services in Dungannon and Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems in Saltville. The funds are to be used for COVID-19 testing, treatment, and to help with capacity and staffing.
