ETSU Professor accused for creating a hostile environment for a student he dated
An East Tennessee State University professor in the Accounting Department is under fire for accusations of creating a hostile environment for a student he allegedly dated while still taking classes.
An investigation conducted recommended that Anthony Masino, PhD., should be held accountable for his actions. He is still on the faculty and has not yet been suspended. He and his attorney plan to appeal the case within the mandatory 10 day time frame. The lawyer says Masino did not start dating the student until after her exams were completed. The relationship, which supposedly ended ugly, lasted for about a year until the woman cheated on her former professor/boyfriend.
