Eastman Making Important Donations To Help Battle COVID-19 Around The World

When you think of Kingsport’s Eastman Chemical Company the first things that probably come to mind are chemicals and plastics. And because of Eastman team members around the world, using innovation and collaboration, the huge chemical manufacturer has helped produce more than 40 thousand face shields for front line workers in the battle against COVID -19. Eastman has also donated enough copolyester resins to assist in the production of 475 thousand bottles of hand sanitizer. In addition Eastman has converted a pilot plant at its largest U.S. Manufacturing site to produce additional hand sanitizer for area schools and emergency responders.
