UPDATE: Potential COVID-19 treatment funded for research by Dolly Parton purchased by AstraZeneca
An antibody procedure developed in research funded by a donation from Tennessee native and country music legend Dolly Parton has been financed by a major drug company for further testing.
Details from medical publisher Stat shows AstraZeneca will continue work on the potential coronavirus treatment that has been conducted at Vanderbilt University where the white blood cells of COVID-19 patients who have recovered are isolated and then cloned.
