UPDATE: Students at all University of Tennessee campuses to be welcomed back on campus for fall semester
University of Tennessee President Randy Boyd has announced students will be welcomed back to all of their campuses for the Fall 2020 semester.
A task force led by UT Health Science Center chair Dr. Jon McCullers was created to develop safety guidelines for each school and Boyd said everything will be done to create a safe environment in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic resulted in UT faculty and staff moving more than 560,000 spring semester credit hours to online learning.
A report on the system’s website says classes will begin August 19.
