KPD investigating ‘serious accident’ that occurred Tuesday night on West Stone Drive

Kingsport Police are investigating a serious accident that happened late Tuesday night on West Stone Drive.

Officers responded to the 400 block of West Stone Drive around 11:20 p.m, and officers say because of the seriousness of the crash, the department traffic unit’s crash reconstruction team was called to the scene. No further information was given.

Dispatchers confirmed the accident was cleared up as of 4:00 a.m this morning.
