Northam Says Virginia Could See One Billion Dollars In Lost Revenue By End Of June
Governor Ralph Northam says the Commonwealth could see revenue losses of one billion dollars by the end of June due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The governor did have some positive news concerning the steps the state is taking moving forward. The Governor made the comments at a press briefing on the first day of a limited and restricted reopening of most of the Virginia economy. Northam gave Richmond and several other Northern localities another two weeks to get prepared for their reopening which is expected to take place in early June.
