Wastewater System Repair Project To Close Portions Of Greenbelt

A critical wastewater system repair project to the West Kingsport Pump Station will close portions of the Greenbelt near Boatyard Riverfront Park. Beginning next Tuesday, May 26, stage one will close the Greenbelt to all foot and bike traffic from just West of the I-26 overpass to the walking bridge till June 26. Stage two begins June 29, and will close the northern path of the Greenbelt to all foot and bike traffic from just west of the foot bridge to the Ridgefield bridge till July 28.
