SNAP Participants In Virginia Can Now Purchase Groceries On-Line
More than 740 thousand Virginians who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP benefits will now be able to purchase their groceries online and have them delivered as well. The United States Department of Agriculture approved the Commonwealth to participate in the innovative online purchasing pilot program. The on-line purchasing system will launch statewide, next week on Friday May 29. For more information contact the USDA.
