Virginians Will Have To Wear Facial Covering Beginning Friday
Beginning Friday, all Virginians entering an indoor public place will be required to wear a face covering to enter that establishment. Thursday, in a briefing with Govenor Ralph Northam, Rita Davis, council to the Governor explained the order will be enforced by a civil process followed by a warrant from a magistrate. But, Davis says the Governor hopes it doesn’t come down to a question of enforcement. Friday also marks the first day for parts of Northern Virginia to enter Phase One of the Governors reopening plans. The Governor says his administration will continue to monitor data before a decision is made move to the next stage of the phased reopening process in Virginia.
