Man Arrested In Johnson City On Stolen Property And Drug Possession

Responding to a call of a suspicious activity in a Walmart parking lot, Johnson City Police have arrested a man for possession of a stolen vehicle and drugs and other charges. 51 year old Justine A Hoffman was found to be in possession of a stolen Jeep Patriot with altered license plates. When questioned, Hoffman gave officers false information about his identity. Upon further investigation, police discovered Hoffman was trespassing on Walmart property after a previous shoplifting charge. Police also found a white rock substance in his pocket believed to be methamphetamine. Hoffman was arrested and was scheduled for an arraignment on Monday in Washington County Tennessee General Sessions Court.
