UPDATE: Trial date set in Carter County for man charged with raping teen

A Greeneville man will face a jury on sex crime charges in Carter County.

Judge Lisa Rice on Monday set a trial date of December 17 for Patrick Jeffery Julian who was indicted by a grand jury in September 2019 on two counts of aggravated statutory rape and two counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Julian is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl and capturing the acts on video, according to police.
