Fourth Southwest Virginian Wins Over One Hundred Thousand Dollars During Month Of June

But a Lee County woman is the fourth person in southwest Virginia to win over a one hundred thousand dollars from the Virginia Lottery during the month of June. Stephanie Rupert stopped to get gas and a drink at Black Diamond market in Pennington Gap and decided to pick up a Super Bonus Crossword ticket. That decision won Rupert the top prize of one hundred thousand dollars. Along with Rupert winning, a Saltville man won 170 thousand dollars, while a Smyth County man won 777, 777 dollars and last week a Rural Retreat woman won 177, 777 dollars. Rupert says the plans to use the money to help the people she loves.
