Fall sports cancelled at SW Virginia Community College
Athletic department officials at Southwest Virginia Community College announces the cancellation of fall sports for the 2020-21 schedule year due to the COVID pandemic.
The report said student-athlete safety was their number one priority and that meant shutting down the men’s and women’s soccer schedule along with cross country teams.
SVCC Athletic Director Jason Vencill said winter and spring sports are still scheduled for regular competition.
