Tri Cities Sees Slight Uptick In Drug Violations During 2019
The number of drug violations in Tennessee decreased by more than five and a half percent from 2018-2019. . Northeast Tennessee’s three largest cities saw a slight increase in those numbers when comparing 2019 with 2018. Bristol, Tennessee reported 422 drug and narcotics violations, while neighboring Johnson City saw 641 reported cases and Kingsport saw 667 reported cases of drugs and narcotics transgressions during 2019 for a total of 1730 reported cases in 2019 compared to 1675 in 2018.
