VSP: One killed in Interstate 81 crash Thursday night

State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened late last night on Interstate 81 in Smyth County, VA.

A spokesperson for VSP said a multi-vehicle accident occurred around 7:30 p.m on I-81 near Exit 35.

There is one confirmed fatality, and no further information was released.
