UPDATE: Hawkins County Schools push start date back to Aug. 10

Hawkins County Schools have delayed the start of their 2020-21 academic year.

The school system announced on Facebook that the first day of classes will begin August 10th, instead of the previously announced August 4th.

The school district also said in the post that all other 2020-21 calendar dates will stay the same.
